Ready to take your Mahjong game to the next level? Join us for Mahjong 102, an intermediate class designed for players who already understand the basics and are ready to strengthen their strategy, improve decision-making, and build confidence during live play. Hosted by Katie Katie the Mahjong Lady, this engaging and interactive evening will focus on advanced gameplay concepts that help players move beyond the fundamentals.

We'll begin with a brief review of core gameplay before diving into strategic card reading, hand selection, defensive play, tile efficiency, Charleston decision-making, and techniques for improving your chances of success throughout the game. Through guided instruction and hands-on practice, you'll learn how to think more strategically and adapt your play as the game unfolds.

This class is taught in learning pairs, allowing guests to collaborate and discuss strategy throughout the evening. We encourage attendees to bring a friend and register together for an even more enjoyable experience. Flying solo? Don't worry! Individual players are absolutely welcome, and we'll thoughtfully pair guests together during class so everyone has a partner to learn alongside.

Perfect for players who have completed a beginner class or have some experience playing Mahjong, this class will help sharpen your skills and deepen your understanding of the game in a supportive and fun environment.

All supplies will be provided, along with refreshments to enjoy during class. Limited capacity (16 guests) ensures plenty of personalized instruction and hands-on learning time for each participant. Receipt of purchase is required for entry.

Doors open at 5:45 PM

Class begins promptly at 6:00 PM

Event Policies: We understand that plans can change. Refund requests will be honored up to seven (7) days before the event and may be requested by emailing events@homdanapoint.com.

Cancellations made less than seven (7) days prior to the event will receive store credit for the ticket value. Due to event planning, staffing, and catering commitments, no refunds or store credits can be issued for cancellations made within seventy-two (72) hours of the event.

Tickets may be transferred to another guest if you are unable to attend.

Ticket sales close forty-eight (48) hours prior to the event. No tickets will be sold at the door.
