Danielle Desimone is a Dana Point native with a rich background in retail and design. Her career began at 16, evolving from sales associate roles to positions like Director of Retail for a multinational beauty brand and Director of Operations for a local interior design firm. These experiences culminated in her founding HŌM Dana Point, an interiors and lifestyle boutique that reflects her passion for creating spaces that feel like home.The concept for HŌM had been in Danielle’s mind for over a decade, but it wasn’t until April 2021 that she left her previous job to pursue this dream. She envisioned a store where customers would feel comfortable, inspired, and able to find unique gifts or home accessories. Since its opening on April 28, 2023, HŌM has become a staple in Dana Point’s Lantern District, earning recognition as Business of the Quarter from the Mayor’s office.Danielle’s commitment to her hometown is evident in her efforts to source products locally and collaborate with neighboring businesses, many of which are also locally-owned. Beyond retail, HŌM serves as a community gathering space, hosting events like cooking demonstrations, cocktail classes, and workshops. Danielle’s dedication to fostering community and her love for design have made HŌM Dana Point a beloved destination for both locals and visitors.
